MICHAEL SMALL – Electrical Design Engineer

Electrical Design Engineer Michael Small enhances somex’s extensive design capability with his expertise in design of electrical control circuits and panels.

Michael evaluates projects for compliance with CE requirements and also generates the validation documentation as required by our customers operating in regulated environments.

Michael joined Somex Automation in 2011 further boosting our capability to offer customers a complete design solution. He has an Honours Degree B.Sc in Physics and Instrumentation and particularly enjoys adapting emerging technologies, for example lasers or vision systems, to offer alternative solutions to solve client issues.

The combination of Michael’s electrical experience with equally skilled mechanical design within Somex Automation allows for considerably greater flexibility within the company. It also enables fast and efficient turn around of client projects.

When he is not busy working as part of the somex team, Michael likes nothing better getting out into the countryside and keeping fit.
